EXAMINATION STAGES
- PRELIMS– Elimination Test (Objective Type MCQs) [100 Marks] – THIS IS JUST A QUALIFIYING PAPER .
- Main Written Examination [100 Marks]
| A) PRELIMS | i) 100 MCQs each of 1 mark. ii) Negative marking of 0.33 marks. iii) Language of the question in ENGLISH ONLY. iv) 20 Questions will be in GUJARATI for section on Gujarati language. v) Time of the exam= 90 minutes vi) Minimum qualifying marks for Reserved categories = 45 marks. vii) Minimum qualifying marks for ALL OTHER candidates= 50 marks. *ONLY THOSE QUALIFYING THEREIN, SHALL BE CALLED FOR MAIN WRITTEN EXAM. |
| B) MAINS | i) TOTAL MARKS= 100 MARKS ii) TOTAL TIME= 3 hrs iii) 2 parts in this Exam = a) Part A – General English [50 marks] b) Part B – General Knowledge [ 50 marks] iv) Language of the paper- IN ENGLISH *(However, answer w.r.t ‘ Translation’ or otherwise required to be answered in GUJARATI, shall invariably be answered in Gujarati language). v) For eligibility in the selection list, MINIMUM 40% MARKS IN AGGREGATE in the Main written exam is required subject to the further notification by the HC of Gujarat if large no. of candidates get qualified. vi) SELECT LIST shall be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the MAINS WRITTEN EXAMINATION ONLY. vii) The select list will be published on HIGH COURT WEBSITE. |
